Michael F. Rosinus
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager
Mike leads the bank investment strategy at Performance Trust Investment Advisors, helping to identify potentially attractive investment opportunities in community banks. He brings a wealth of experience to his role, having served on multiple bank boards in either an advisory or direct capacity. He is a subject matter expert on bank operations, regulatory issues, bank capital structures, audit committee matters, credit initiation, administration and processes, and asset/liability management.
Along with his advisory experience, Mike has a long and successful track record specializing in community bank investments as a portfolio manager and senior advisor in the private equity and hedge fund industries. For three years, he served as a Senior Advisor at Lightyear Capital. Prior to working at Lightyear, Mike spent 10 years as the Portfolio Manager for a long/short hedge fund focused on community bank investments. As Chief Executive Officer of the Commercial Banking Division for Citibank in Chicago, he built this business from the ground up into a $2.0 billion deposit franchise with $1.0 billion in loan commitments.
Mike received an MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University and a BA from Hamilton College.

Shane B. Hoover, CFA
Vice President
Shane serves as Vice President for the Distressed Bank Equity Team of Performance Trust Investment Advisors. He is responsible for the initial screening of investment opportunities, financial modelings, assisting in the negotiations and structuring of potential investments, and monitoring of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining the PTIA team, he spent the previous five years at Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC providing investment banking services and strategic advice to community banks. In this role, Shane was responsible for merger and acquisitions, divestitures and capital formation. Before joining Performance Trust in 2006, Shane held business development and analyst roles at hedge fund firms Man Investments and its subsidiary Glenwood Capital.
Shane received a BS from the University of Colorado - Boulder and an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management with emphasis in Analytical Finance and Entrepreneurship. He is also a CFA charter holder.

Edward M. ("Ted") Rosinus
Senior Associate
Mr. Rosinus joined PTMR in 2010 and helps evaluate and execute new deals and also helps monitor portfolio companies.
Prior to joining PTIA, he spent three years at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), a specialty investment bank that focuses solely on the financial services sector. More specifically, he worked within the depository group in both equity research and corporate finance. During his time in the corporate finance division, Mr. Rosinus was responsible for analysis imperative to mergers and acquisitions, equity capital raising, debt capital raising, FDIC-assisted transactions, and asset and liability purchases and divestitures. Additionally, he spent part of 2009 in Baghdad, Iraq, where he assisted in advising the Iraqi National Investment Commission Minister and his deputy. In this capacity, Mr. Rosinus helped to develop investment infrastructure to encourage and attract domestic and foreign private investors to Iraq.
Mr. Rosinus received a BA in International Affairs and International Economics from the Elliot School of International Affairs at The George Washington University.

Kimberley L. Gravenor
Analyst
Ms. Gravenor joined PTIA in 2011 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania. She began in Operations, serving as the point of contact for separately managed accounts, coordinating with investors, RIAs, and 3rd party service providers. She also worked closely with PTMR to establish the infrastructure for the launch of their fund. In this capacity she interfaced with the fund’s lawyers, administrators and accountants. Following PTMR’s first close, Ms. Gravenor joined PTMR as an Analyst.
Kim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English and a BS in Economics, concentrating in Operations and Information Management (OPIM) in the Wharton School.
